Shea nut olein aka shea oil is a yellowish liquid that is extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. It is a natural source of vitamins A, E, and F, as well as essential fatty acids. It is known for its moisturizing, nourishing, and protective properties. Shea nut olein is often used in skincare products, as it helps to reduce dryness, improve skin elasticity, and protect the skin from environmental damage. It is also known to help reduce inflammation and promote healing, making it beneficial for those with sensitive skin or skin conditions. Additionally, it can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, making it a popular choice for anti-aging products.

Can be used alone in lotions, body butters, soaps, and so much more.

Amazing

I add this to the shea butter I make and it adds so much to the creaminess. In the Pic the butter on the left has the shea olein and the one on the right doesn't. You can see the creaminess.

CREAMY!

At first I didn't know what to do with this stuff...and on a whim, decided to make a hair cream out of 3CayG's shea nut olein, unrefined shea butter, and babassu oil. I heated them down, cooled it in the freezer, and mixed it by hand. TALK ABOUT CREAMY! The creamiest hair cream I ever made, so gorgeous, shiny, lush, and nutty smelling, this combo is creamy gold. The shea nut olein is a perfect base for hair products and works the best when it's in its firm, creamy state and marries beautifully with other butters and oils. Love it so much!
